- Instanbul voted the place to go for 2010 in New York Times poll. For me, it was definitely Buenos Aires, which, like Instabul, exudes plenty of history and culture.
- Lonely Planet‘s top places to go in the U.S. in 2011. I will be going to four of the 10 … not bad.
- Travel moments in 2010 – Oprah does Yosemite!
- The best foodie countries … oooh, Greece. Yum.
- Andreas and I plan on staying in a yurt this year. It’s on our list.
- Vacation rentals compete with hotels to “out-luxury” the other. I actually hope this trend continues.

- The other day, I watched a fantastic documentary “Giant Crystal Cave” about the Naica Crystal Cave in Mexico on the National Geographic Channel. Absolutely compelling!
